God's Blessings

Behold I set before you this day a blessing and a curse; A blessing, if ye obey the commandments of the Lord your God, which I command you this day: And a curse, if ye will not obey the commandments of the Lord your God, but turn aside out of the way which I command you this day, to go after other gods, which ye have not known. Deuteronomy 11:26-28

As the 2012 progresses, I feel challenged with this verse in Deuteronomy. I have to make the choice daily, which will I choose, to obey his word and have life or disobey and turn aside and be cursed?
I choose Life and to obey!

How has God challenged you this year to begin to follow him more closely and obediently? I think it is a surrender of the will.

New Years Resolutions for 2012

Stay focused on God. Where you put your focus is where your strength and momentum will come. Every decision you make is a building block to tomorrow. Be precise in your goals and ambitions. Most of all put God's desires before anything else and he will lead the rest.

Don't just have existance have substance. Discipline yourself to know Gods positive promises. Where ever you go they will help you live.

Aspire to be right with God first and always led by God's spirit.
